2017 Farmers Market is Coming!

Folks, We are now a month away from the first Aksarben Village Farmers Market. Since 2011 we have made appearances on weekends where they only needed a spot filled.

Well, I have exciting news! This year we will be at the market virtually every Sunday of the season. That means you will no longer have to wonder or ask if we will be at the market the next week.

I have wanted to be able to be in the market full time for the past couple of years. But now is the best opportunity. It has become a home to us and the best and easiest place to find us.

dscf1837Hang on for a few more moments. I will have a few surprises this year. I will have some different and lower priced instruments. I will also have an opportunity for a few of you to interact with me outside the market. Announcement coming soon at the market.

I’m looking forward to seeing the regular folks and meeting new people. Get ready for the farmers market!

Mojo Guitar at Millard Music House

Well it seems like it’s been a long winter, but spring is finally coming upon us. I’m thankful and excited because it means the Aksarben Village Farmer’s Market and any craft show we pop up at is right around the corner.

In the mean time you can get your cigar box guitar fix down at Millard Music House. That’s right. If you have been eyeing the Mojo Guitar you can check it out there without all the open air noise of the market. The Undercrown 6 string guitar showed pretty well there and was sold in January. This Mojo guitar is extra special with 2 custom wound single coils, volume, tone (orange drop cap installed) and steel chromed hardware. Not the cheap diecast stuff others are using. Check it, drop me a line with any questions or comments and make this one of kind only one in the world guitar yours!

Millard Music House is at 5053 S 136th St in Omaha, NE

Great Holiday Show/Thanks For Your Support

cropped-wildernesslogolong.jpgFolks, thanks for your interest and support! It was a great show. We still have plenty of guitars and ukes available. I’ll be adding a deleting pictures on the web and online store to show what’s still available.

If you live in Omaha or surrounding area, call me to make arrangements for pickup or delivery. If you don’t see the one you are interested in please call or email to see if I still have it. I may have forgotten to get the picture up.

I’m here to make your purchase as easy as possible. I have some guitar pics to include with your purchase and can get you a box if you need one.

Here’s a reminder and an explanation of what I have for sale.

Cigar box ukuleles (the ones with the short necks) all can be played without an amplifier (acoustically). Most are equipped with a pickup so you can plug it into an amplifier. arturo2016uke

The Cigar Box Guitars are the ones with the long necks (25″ scale). Most can be played acoustically and through an amplifier. There are exceptions so check the descriptions carefully. If you aren’t sure contact me to clarify.

ocbg As always I can help with custom guitars and orders.

I look forward to serving your needs.

Thanks, Al

Last Farmer’s Market of the Year

Folks, I’m sad to say it’s the last Farmer’s Market of the Year at Aksarben Village. Yes as usual it will be from 9-1 this Sunday the 16th. And yes Wilderness Guitars will be there. If you want to beat the holiday crowds now is the time to purchase.  I will have my full selection of instruments there for purchase. Not just  a handful as I usually display. ALL of them.

OK one exception. I have one of my 6 string guitars on display at Millard Music. Please go check it out. It is the King’s Crown 6 string and priced out at $500.00. You won’t be disappointed.

Not Much Time Left!

First of all let me thank everyone for their interest. We met many great folks as we always do and look forward to serving you when you’re ready to purchase.

I also want to thank Tim Koehn from the Swampboy Blues Band. I met Tim Saturday at the Village Pointe Market. His band was playing and I was being entertained. He certainly dug the Mojo guitar enough to play it for two sets. Thanks to the band also for plugging my guitars. If haven’t heard of the Swamboy Blues Band and like the blues, check out their website.

277  OK I took a short video too.

OK, the sad news is I only have 1 more opportunity at Aksarben Village Farmer’s Market. That will be October 15th. I hope you will come out and support the market 1 more time this year. If you can’t make it and still want a cigarbox guitar or ukulele. Don’t wait!

Village Pointe Farmers Market

10/1/16 From 8 to 1

OK, it’s a different farmers market this time, but it’s special. It’s the last market of the year at Village Pointe. They’ve planned some awesome events like pumpkin painting, a bounce house, hayrack rides, live music and more. And best of all Wilderness Guitars will be selling along with a handful of other crafters. This is one of two times in the season this is done.  Come on out to Village Pointe Shopping Center and support the farmers, crafters and have fun celebrating the end of the season. October 1, 2016 from 8 – 1
